State-certified middle & high school science teacher (grades 6–9) with nine years of classroom experience, offering one-on-one and small-group tutoring in a quiet public library meeting room. Patient, hands-on, and tailored to your child's pace.
Hello! I'm Manal El Masri, a state-certified middle and high school science teacher (grades 6–9) with nine years of experience. I spent six years teaching in Kentucky — three as a substitute and three as a full 8th grade science teacher — and the past three years with the Chandler Unified School District teaching 8th Grade Integrated Science.
My teaching style is warm and encouraging. I build confidence first, then push for real critical thinking, and I always adapt to each student's learning pace. Students remember science best when they've built it, poured it, wired it, or looked at it under a microscope — so that's how we learn.
Sessions run after school hours and on weekends, weekly or bi-weekly, in a quiet and accessible public library meeting room.
We slow down on the tricky units — cells, energy, matter, forces, weather, ecosystems — until it clicks and stays.
Support with current classwork plus focused preparation for AASA and district science assessments.
From choosing a question to hypothesis, procedure, data tables and the final board — guided step by step.
One-on-one, or groups of 2–3 students so everyone still gets personal attention (great for friends or siblings).
Models, circuits, microscope work and demonstrations — the same activities my classroom students love.
Parents get honest feedback after sessions: what we covered, what improved, and what to practise at home.
No packages, no contracts, no registration fees. Pay per session.
A no-obligation meet-and-greet to assess your child's needs and make sure we're a good fit.
